I have to confess, at the moment I only really have one drink (though it is a favourite) that I like, but if I find anymore I’ll edit and add them.
- Bacardi American This is a very simple drink to make, but it tastes great (as tested by students UK-wide.. at least 10 now! *grins*) But the amazing advantage (tested and found true!) is that if you have one of these, you won’t wake up with hangover breath! Amazing, but true (try it and let me know if you find otherwise)
Tall glass (ideally a few ice cubes) 1 shot Bacardi rum Top up with ginger ale (preferably Canada dry). If you want this in a pub, then the little bottles of ginger ale they sell are perfect. Enjoy!
Please test this drink out and let me know what you think, I’m intrigued whether people find it nicer than Bacardi and coke, or whether people hate it! (Only one person so far, and they were paralytic so I’m not counting them *grin*)
- Dooley’s and Coke No proper name for this, and personally I can’t stand it, but a number of friends swear by it (and it’s so grotesque no-one can resist trying it) I thought I’d add it in.
Tall glass (ice if preferred, though not essential) 1 shot Dooleys toffee liquor Top up with coca cola. You’ll get a weird mix that looks horrible, (and I think tastes horrible)
Again, replies on whether you love it or hate it – I’m told it’s the marmite of the drinking world.
