Advantages easy and good

Disadvantages spices

I like vegetable very much, but avocado… I did not like this one. Its peculiar taste, and its strange aspect. I found it tasteless. How to eat this?

I found the answer between margaritas y sombreros. When I went beyond the Atlantic Ocean and on the other side of America, in Mexico, Baja California Sur (in the region of Tijuana).
One day in a restaurant, the barman gave us with our drink two plates. The first one contained a green purée, and some red piece. There was triangular corn chips (tortillas) in the second one. I discovered the guacamole.

The avocado’s flesh is pound and mixes with tomatoes and onion pieces (sometimes chilli peppers), lemon juice, and for the Mexicans and those who like spices. To eat this purée, you do not need any fork. Your fingers are sufficient, they just have to take a tortilla. It is its functions. All the ingredients give a new taste to your avocado. It so much better than a simple one.

When I came back in France, I found some guacamole preparation. A powder of tomatoes, onions, and spices. I tried… It was not something exceptional. It was not tasty at all, not as it was in Mexico. I was looking for something unusual.
Later, I found a recipe. And the guacamole I did myself where sensational. Moreover, this recipe is very easy.
I decided to share this piece of Mexico, a piece of sun and beach.

To four persons:
- 2 avocados
- 1 tomato
- 2 little white onion
- 1 lemon
- Mexican tortillas
- And spices if you like to eat fire…

You have to pound the avocados, to cut onion and tomato in little square. Then press the lemon and mix all the ingredients in something like a bowl. It very easy and very good.
I usually eat the guacamole before the diner.

Each time I eat guacamole, I remember my wonderful days between the Californian cactus.

Bon appétit!

Based on the recipe you mentioned here, I myself cannot imagine the taste, and I think that I must dislike avocado, either. However, I love it served after being blended with a blender in order to make it soft, and then mix it with with some cream (milk) and some choclate. Try this one, and you may love it. Cheers, -dj.
