Disadvantage of RB Cola is definitely the packaging.

I've never been a fan of Red Bull and if I have drunk 5 cans of it in my life, it's a lot. The taste just isn't for me, too fizzy and tastes "artificial". So Red Bull is not sth I would pay attention to, but this time it was different. Doing my last week's shopping I came across a new Red Bull can in the cold-drinks rack and to my surprise, it read "cola", hmm, now that was sth to try. Just the can already made me interested, typical thin Red Bull can, but quite taller, so I just couldn't have not noticed.
Package and price
One of the reasons I decided to try this drink was also the price. I won't bore you with numbers much, just let me say that a typical Red Bull can cost 38 - 45 CZK, which simply is too much for a single can of drink in my opinion and now this cola was "just" 24, not super cheap, but already way more reasonable.
Disadvantage of RB Cola is definitely the packaging. Coca Cola can (330ml) costs 19 - 25 CZK but a 2-litre bottle is 30 - 40 CZK, so of course I'm economical enough to get the big bottle of Coke instead of a sixpack of can or similar, if I feel like drinking it. This little calculation is not in favour of RB Cola, because it necessarily comes out as the more expensive one.
The can (355ml) is taller than normal Red Bull can, thin and goes in similar colours, blue and red stricken with a diagonal silver stripe with a red "Red Bull" inscription in it and just below it reads "simply COLA". The can popper (I have no idea what you call that thing in English :p) on top of the can is particularly fancy, because besides the usual Red Bull silhouette cut into it, this one is red! I was particularly intrigued to read "strong and natural" at the very bottom of the can, I sure wanted to see how natural can such a healthy drink be.
So how natural is it, really?
This drink is claimed to be made of "natural ingredients only", which means: Water, sugar, carbon dioxide, syrup with caramel sugar, natural aroma agents made of plant extracts, blue ginger, vanilla, mustard seeds, caffeine from coffee beans, calcite, cola nuts, cocoa, liquorice, cinnamon, lemon, ginger, orange, pennyroyal, pine extract, cardamon, nutmeg, cloves, lemon juice concentrate.
I was just amazed reading this list, because it named things I wouldn't imagine can be in a cola!
100ml of Red Bull cola contains: 160 kJ / 38 kcal - less than Coca Cola (42kcal) 8.8g sugar (carbohydrates) - Coca Cola has 10.6g trace (less than 0.01g) of proteins, fat, sodium
Does NOT contain (and is healthy therefore): -phosphoric acid -conservants -artificial colour agents -artificial aroma agents - fibre
Taste and looks
Taste is the most important item in a drink. The Red Bull Cola is not even similar to good old Coca Cola, in my opinion these two soft drinks could be only distantly related. It's fizzy just enough, doesn't rush out of the can the second you popped it open, and the taste (especially the ginger and lemon ghost) stays in your mouth for quite a while after you finished the can. The smell is more alike Coke, only somewhat sharper and more lemonish.
Just for the purpose of reviewing I poured the drink into a clear glass and was surprised to see it doesn't even look alike Coke. It's not a clear liquid, it looks bit "dusty" instead and doesn't have the somewhat bright blackish colour of Coke, it's rather brown with a touch of reddish shade to it, which only emphasizes the "dustiness". Not that I mind, after all, mostly you wouldn't even know about this as you drink it from a can you can't see into and Red Bull Cola (as far as I'm aware, at least) is not produced in any other container.
My opinion
I don't think I could drink Red Bull Cola instead of Coca Cola, simply because I'm more used to the Coke taste, however, I found RB Cola nice enough to have once in a while, just for the difference. What I liked most about it is that after finishing the drink I didn't feel the craving to have more, which I certainly have with Coke. It leaves the taste in your mouth, but I didn't feel like it left my tongue sticky and wanting either water to wash it away or more (like Coke).
Advantages: Good quality Product Disadvantages: I don't like the taste
...We all know that Red Bull original gives you wings but what does the new Red Bull Cola give you? Red Bull Cola is, as the name suggests a cola flavoured drink. It is from the same makes as Red Bull and was released in 2008. The Red Bull Cola comes in a can that looks pretty much like the regular Red Bull so you know it is from the same company. Each individual tin is 335ml, so a little bit bigger than a tin of normal Red Bull. Red Bull Cola is written on the front of the tin and then the top half of the tin is dark blue and the bottom half is a bright red colour. In the supermarkets you can usually find a can of Red Bull Cola for about £0.95 so a little ...

...read a little bit about Red Bull Cola but had never seen it. Then whilst looking in Wilkinson's saw it for around 45p this was a definite price I was happy to pay. Advantages: Less chemicals... Healthy maybe? Disadvantages: Tastes slightly worse, more expensive.
When I see a beverage I haven?t tried before, I just have to give it a go. When I spotted a can for Pepsi RAW I initially thought it was an energy drink because of the size of the can and the price in relation to it. However, I don?t think it is, although it does contain natural caffeine.
It seems to simply be Pepsi, but made from all natural (or mostly natural) ingredients. In this way I will compare it to RedBullCola for anyone who has tried that. I would certainly say that it is better than RedBullCola. It doesn?t taste all that different to Pepsi in fact, not quite as fizzy, not quite as sweet but still pleasant, it certainly exceeded expectations and I was very surprised after my first mouthful, and I?d definitely say it tastes better than Diet Pepsi or Pepsi Max (as I really dislike them). After a while however, it started to ...

RedBull is a great energy drink, the taste is without a doubt morish but not everyones cup of tea, and it helps boost me in the morning ready for the day ahead, espec if i'm planning on going to the gym.
It is good value for money, sometimes they will put offers on, I think its great the fact they low sugar redbull also.
You cant go wrong with redbull.
The best thing about it is that there are no side effects of these drinks.
Just drinking plain water alone is not enough to give you the energy you need, especially if the activity you?re doing requires your body to consume activity.
Redbull offerers various other drinks, low fat, cola also, affordable too. ...
Advantages: tastes lovely, very refreshing, big can Disadvantages: None
is about catching the eye when placed upon the shelf in your local newsagents or supermarket packaged alongside similar products. In my local newsagents this product is placed between RedBull and the rather disgusting tasting RedBullCola and is priced at 99p and even that is a bargain when RedBull is currently priced at £1.09.
When it comes to the taste, I have to say I had expected it to be like RedBull is everyway shape and form because that is what I assume all energy drinks to taste like with only a few similarities. As soon as the drink hit the tongue I was expecting to taste the sugary sweet sensation I was so used to with RedBull but I was surprised because I actually didn?t find Rockstar anywhere near as sugary or sweet, it is a yellowing colour whereas RedBull is a rusty orange/red colour and for me it was slightly ...
