…One day I was in Waitrose and really felt like some bacon crisps for some reason. So after searching on the shelf completely dedicated to crisps- I found this brand Red Sky- but let me tell you now I defineitly did NOT pick it up for a good price- it was more of a "what the hell" and into the basket it went....

Taste + Product Quality; I can honestly say I will never by another brand of crisps again. These are the best crisps I have ever encountered. This is probably because they only use Natural ingredients, so real cheese and bacon powder is used in these crisps. The effect was great though they taste oh so meaty with the added help of them being very thick making it like there is something there, unlike other brands - Here is the list then... of all natural ingredients

British Grown potatoes
Sunflower Oil
Sea Salt
Natural flavouring
Dried cream cheese
Dried Yoghurt- Don't ask me why that’s in there!
Milky Whey powder
Cane Sugar
Paprika Extract

On top of that they are suitable for coeliacs

Smell; The crisps smell very strongly of cheese and slightly like bacon frazzles unsurprisingly they smell allot less artificial to other brands. They smell great.

Packaging; The smell and the taste can definitely define the packaging as the package is incredibly unique and has a red sunset in the background picture hence the title! The packet looks so much better than your usual Walkers bag of crisps.... It is also nice to see a better range of interesting flavours rather than the usual Cheese and Onion and Ready salted!

Value For Money; I am quite prepared to pay the price for theses crisps. As they are the best I have tasted and are individual compared to the boring other flavours. Such as Ready salted. The product quality is also great as it all comes from Gods own kitchen rather than the nasty chemically trash that the school used to cram down you face until Jamie Oliver stepped in. Saying that they are on offer at Tesco + Waitrose for 2 for £3.00 rather than the usual £1.77 per 150 gram pack. I was also impressed by the way they fill about 3/4 of the pack rather than the usual 1/3 in other brands, to make it look as if you are getting more for your money- You really do get more for you money with Red Sky

Verdict; These are the best crisps I have ever tasted and will not cease to buy them no matter what the price. They are Natural- therefore better for you (than other brands) they are individual to other boring flavours such as Prawn Cocktail on top of that you can buy them almost anywhere and contain a mere 183 calories and 0.7 grams of saturated fat per 40 gram serving!

The Rolls Royce of crisps are Red Sky....I eat about two bags a year, but only Red Sky - never eat crisps otherwise. R.
