Redken Extreme Deep Fuel treatment - does exactly what it says

Advantages: Deep conditioning, strenght, shine. Hair is more manageable, soft and looks more attractive

I have always had problems with my hair ? even before I started styling it, my hair broke, was very dry and had split ends. So you can imagine what happened to it after relaxing and using a hot iron! Although I use conditioners regularly and occassionally buy treatments, nothing seemed to help until now, and I really mean it. I tried several brands before, but each time was disappointed after spending sometimes lots of money on a product. I saw a review of Redken Extreme Deep Fuel on the Internet and it was mentioning promised exceptional improvement in hair condition lasting for 5-8 washes. The treatment has three main active ingredients: proteins, ceramids and lipids, which are supposed to make the hair stronger, shinier and easier to manage. So on, they built up a brand which today is worldwide known and salon trusted with many salon?s choosing to use Redken as their key line of products. The packaging of the shampoo is quite nice as all the different sub ranges of Redken are colour packaged so that you know where you are buying them from. The range I have been using is the ?Extreme? range which is in the blue bottles. They are in a royal blue plastic bottle which is easy to see the levels of. The front of the bottle just has the Redken logo on it, it comes in a 300ml bottle which is actually not a bad size compared to other brands. My Redken Revolution. Part 1

Advantages: quite good results
Disadvantages: very pricey

My hairdresser, Jermaine, is a tactful soul. The last time he sheared and highlighted me, he casually asked what type of shampoo and conditioner I was using and went on to suggest I might consider trying Kerastase or Redken. I am a bit of a slouch when it comes to my tresses and don?t often go in for lots of conditioning and such and, although I have made occasional sorties into the land of posh hair preparations, I usually stick to the more affordable alternatives. But this was obviously Jermaine?s way of telling me that my hair not in the best of shape and, as I was so pleased with his last recommendation for Tigi Small Talk (as previously reviewed) I decided to spend a few precious pennies on some more upmarket potions.
