Advantages: quite good results
Disadvantages: very pricey

the third day (today!), it was definitely greasy, my scalp was slightly itchy and I would not have got away with another day without shampooing. Would I recommend the shampoo? Well at this stage the jury is still out. It was certainly no worse than others I have used and better than many. You can use it quite sparingly as it lathers well. I have used it half a dozen times now and the bottle is still three quarters full. Maybe, as this is a repair treatment, the benefits will be more apparent after a longer period of use but at present I don?t feel the results really justify the cost. Review of Redken Body Full Shampoo

A Jonah of the Shampoo World - Redken

Advantages: Widely available, helps straighten fizzy hair
Disadvantages: Expensive, lots of shampoo needed every wash, irritates scalp, dries hair out and makes it feel brittle

the truth is to be told. The end results from the first use were disappointing, my hair felt limp and seemed dry and brittle to the touch. Looking in the mirror the results were clear; my hair wasn't tangled and there were no signs of any frizz or kinks in my hair but it felt as though my hair would snap or be damaged by even the slightest touch. After using the shampoo for a few days I started to notice that my scalp became red and itchy. Whenever I would dry my hair using the hairdryer I would be scratching my head within minutes. Even letting my hair dry naturally did stop this happening. After a week of using Redken the bottle was empty and the results were awful. My scalp was really irritable and it looked dry and brittle, I had lost any gloss that my hair had previously had and I was a very sad bunny. I would never use this ...

Review of Redken Smooth Down

Moisturising Colour Shampoo

Advantages: Great shamppo, makes colour last longer, keeps colour vibrant
Disadvantages: Is quite a thick liquid so only need a small amount

I really love the Redken range i use it an awful lot on my clients hair. The Redken Colour shampoo is great to use if you dye your hair the shades of browns and reds. It strengethens your hair after colouring and leaves your hair soft and shiny. A very important thing I must point out is the colour shampoo also has UV protection in it, so you have no worries now when going into the sune as your hair will be fully protected. I found this really helped with my hair as I love that dark rich plum colour I have to last and it does, before i used this shampoo i found my colour fading slightly through the sun. Even though it still does very slightly by the chlorine from the pool, I still have that nice rich shine i love.
