Available at major pharmacies, Regain (active ingredient minoxidil)is a hair loss treatment. It's the only proven hair loss treatment I know of - and is actually available on prescription in special cases. It doesn't claim miracle results, but can help stop the advancement of male pettern balding, in some cases even resulting in the regrowing of soft downy hair, which may later grow more quickly. It's most effective in the early stages - the only drawback is the price (around £25 a month) and the fact that it can irritate a sensitve scalp.
