Advantages: The professional yellow hose is very robust
Disadvantages: If the snails get to the instructions before you do - the cart will never get built!

...the farmyard to the greenhouses, with cars driving over it, my friend even parked on it - and to no detriment to the hose - however at this time the cart would of been most useful with its wheels and roll facility, where it can remain on the reel and still have water coming out, but alas - no instructions - no cart - it is just too confusing. In comparison to the Hoselock green hose which we bought a year ago and is on its first season compared to its third, the yellow hose attaches better to the fittings, doesn’t breach easily - we already have a hole in the green one, - OK the yellow hose it more expensive - but if you can afford it - go for it, and build the cart! In summary - Strong hose - but how does the cart go?...I’m sure my son will use the wheels for something - eventually.... Read review

Advantages: Good bit of kit, simple, and effective.

...This review is on the hose mender by Rehau. You may think you don't need one of these, you may well be right of course. I thought so too, and having messed about in my garage for hours, using bits of copper pipe & Jubilee clips, I finally decided to get the proper kit. The Hose Mender itself is nothing special, it is simply a means of attaching one end of a hose pipe to another, in a short length. It does this very well, and although I have forgotten the price, it can't have been much more than a couple of Pounds. It was easy to do the job. and I have no regrets either, it is just a plastic fitting, nothing more, nothing less, and it is there to do a job, and it does that job very well indeed.
