Personally I love property shows. I’m an avid viewer of Property Ladder, Grand Designs and House Doctor among others. I’ve even found myself glued to Homes Under The Hammer, a little known BBC1 daytime programme so you can imagine how riveting it is! I’m not sure why I have such an addiction but I guess it’s just down to the fact that I’m a nosy ... ...~ ~ ~
Relocation, Relocation is presented by Kirstie Allsop and Phil Spencer who have fronted Location, Location, Location since it began a few years ago. Both presenters are ex-estate agents and property experts and throughout the hour long show give helpful hints and advice about the house buying process, what to look for when viewing a property and ways to add value to your home among other nuggets of information.

...Property shows are apparently the ‘new porn’. A heady mix of voyeurism combined with schadenfreude and aspiration, television programmes such as ‘Property Ladder’, ‘Grand Designs’, ‘Relocation, Relocation’, and ‘A Place in the Sun’ are topping the ratings. The ultimate in reality TV, viewers get to spy into real people’s homes and either marvel at their taste or secretly smirk at their lack of it!
A few years ago, cookery shows and interior-design programmes were ratings-winners. No longer … now, viewers cannot get enough of property shows. Media-commentators say that property shows tap into the new zeitgeist: ‘change’ and the sense that we deserve better.

...Property shows are very popular right now and are loads out there: A Place In The Sun, Property Ladder, House Auction, Selling Houses, RelocationRelocationRelocation, and my favourite, Location Location Location, which is the predecessor of Relocation x3.
Each show, Phil Spencer and Kirstie Allsopp help aspiring homeowners find their ideal home. They organise viewings to four different properties, in the hope of finding their dream house, and Phil and Kirstie dish out useful tips and advice on buying a house along the way.
This sounds very simple, boring in fact, but believe me, it's not! There are a million and one property shows around right now, but this is one of the originals and definitely the best.
