...picked up a packet of Remegel for 69p. Much cheaper than my usual Rennies, which usually cost me about a pound a time.
THE PACKAGING
The packet I bought contained eight individual tablets. They come in a rectangular shaped foil packet which is predominantly white and green in colour with the "Remegel" name across the front in dark blue capital letters, so they are fairly easy to spot on the shelf.
Inside the packet each tablet is individually ... ...The effective ingredient within Remegel tablets is Calcium Carbonate, which is the ingredient that is present in almost all remedies of this kind. Each tablet contains 800mg of Calcium Carbonate which is actually exactly the same amount that is present in my Rennies so the fact that they took so long to work is a bit of a mystery, as the rest of the ingredients present just seem to be flavourings.

Advantages: they aren't chalky tasting Disadvantages: they can take a while to work
...I had seen the remegel antacids advertised in the TV but when I got the the shops I just automatically picked up the usual rennies. A couple of weeks ago I actually remembered that I was goign to try these (probably due to the fact that I had to dash into Superdrug to buy some as I had heartburn at teh time not just stocking up!)
I was expecting them to be really expensive as is the usual case with "different" things, so I was surprised to find ... ...a white paper tube with remegel written in dark green with a lighter green shadow and a green stripe along the bottom of the pack with Original mint, 8 tablets written on it in white .
It says they provide fast,effective relief from Acid indigestion, heartburn and excess acid.
Thay can be used by adults and children over 12 and you should chew one or two tablets as sypmtoms occr. You can repeat hourly if symptoms return but mustn't take more than ...
