Advantages: holds your atention Disadvantages: you won't get anything done1
...This is a book that has to be either read or listened to. I bought the book first then the audio for a disabled friend. It starts off a bit slowly but is fascinating. It holds the reader/listener with each growing chapter. It takes a while to understand Lexi's charachter but once you do you are willing her to remember everything. It holds your attention throughout and has wonerful twists and turns. SophieKinsella is a brilliant writer.. Before I read this I thought that can you keep a secret was her best but this is equal to it. I love all her Shopaholic books but this is a different genre and she shows that she can hold her own with some of the best fiction writers This must not be missed...

Advantages: Brilliant, lighthearted storyline, couldn't put it down. Disadvantages: Read it all in one go, then was left with nothing to read!!!!!!
...aving read the shopaholic series written by SophieKinsella I was pleased when I found this book at the airport before going on holiday.
The main character Lexi is having a really bad day, what with not gettin her annual bonus, getting stood up by her boyfriend (loser dave) all on the eve of her fathers funeral. To top it off she has an accident trying to hail a taxi in the pouring rain after a night out. Subsequently she wakes up in hospital to be told that she has had a car accident in her Mercedes, which she cant understand as she doesnt know how to drive let alone be able to afford a Merc!!! She has lost 3 years of her memory and the more she learns about her life the more she cant believe it as it sounds like a dream. Little does she know in achieving this 'dream' life she has turned into a monster and turned her back on all her...

Advantages: A Great Read. Light and entertaining Disadvantages: Book is in hardback
...This book is such light reading you wont want to put it down. SophieKinsella uses characters in her books that everyone can relate to and this book is no different. Can you imagine waking up in hospital having just lost 3 yrs of your life? Finding out that you are married to a millionaire, who is really caring and also absolutely gorgeous. Lexi thought all her Christmases had come at once. Only after living with her husband and meeting up with everyone again did Lexi all is not as it seemed. The book is then about Lexi trying to find out who she is and what she had become.
Another really great book by SophieKinsella. One that I was sad to finish. Enjoy...
