>>Intro<<
Well how do I start this op hmmmm….. I am stood the cashier at work, and a lady brings one of the spoken of foot spas to the desk, I put it through the till £20.00, hey wait a minute £20 that’s pretty damn cheap! So i`m stood there debating whether or not I should get one, in the height of the blue cross sale with so much money off! After ummming and ahhhhhing for a few minutes I deicide yes and wander over to the shelf. Only one left, it’s a done deal then, I do NEED a foot spa, I pick it off and hide it behind the counter, ready to be purchased on my afternoon break! I am a happy girly, those of you who have read my foot cream op will understand why I need a foot spa and for those of you that haven`t I will explain. My feet are horrendous, blistered, corned, and really really hard, suffered years of being a sales assistant on the electrical department at Sunwin House. At this point in time about a week ago it was also the height of the sale, and boy was it busy, I didn`t sit down all day = even worse feet than usual! So that’s how I got my foot spa, now on to the details!

>>What I got<<<
Well I got the big box home and straight away pulled out the contents. The box had various things rattling around inside so heres a list,
- The foot spa itself
- A mesh bag containing a pumice stone , and three oils for use in the spa, lemon, peppermint and lavender
- A sort of lid that fits on top of the footspa at the back
- A little instruction booklet
So far, so good I had smelt the oils, ( the lemon one is vile) and read the instructions and I was ready to go! I made a coffee and turned Eastenders on, and was almost ready to lose my foot spa virginity! I filled the spa up to the max fill line, as stated in the instructions and added a couple of capfuls of Lavender oil, said to relax! Now I didn`t do this the first time I used the thing, but I do recommend you place the spa on a towel before you get settled and put your feet in. On my maiden voyage I didn`t and my Lounge carpet also got the bubbly lavender oil treatment, not so good! Oh yeah and then you will have something to dry your relaxed footsies on. Shouting to the boyfriend upstairs to get me a towel ,for 10 minutes preceeding use could have ruined the whole experience you understand!

>>Bubbly Bubbly<<
So when the footspa has the water in, and you `ve got yourself sorted out, you just plonk your bum on the biggest comfiest chair that you can find and away you go! On the front of the spa are the controls, there are four settings, bubbling and vibrating for a full spa, and the same for less water! You simply turn the knob and it starts, I think I prefer the bubbling one to be honest, the vibrating one makes me feel a bit funny!!! However, the thing is quite noisy, particularly on the bubbling setting, you have to turn the TV right up to still be able to comprehend whats going on! The bubbling setting sends big bubbles out from the bottom of the spa and feels like dipping your feet into a jacuzzi. The vibrating one simply vibrates, like miniature waves and is quite strange feeling( in a nice way!) The thing is quite relaxing, and my feet definitely feel more like feet, as opposed to blocks of wood, having used the spa. Oh just a word of warning though, you aint supposed to use it for more than 20 minutes at a time, I`m not really sure of the reason, but I`ve got a body spa that goes in the bath and that says the same thing too! It might induce some medical condition I dunno!
The different oils are also said to have different effects and others can be purchased to add to the water. My fave out of the ones supplied is Lavender, although the peppermint one is okay, I haven`t used the lemon yet, I just can`t get over the vile aroma! The footspa was a great buy, and I often use it as a treat when I`m watching television or my feet are hurting!!

>>The effect<<
I don`t think the foot spa has any particular long term effects. But it certainly adds to my new regime of looking after my feet more (God if only I could afford some Benefit Sandal Scandal!!!) No seriously, it is a lovely treat for tired, or aching feet, or just if you fancy pampering yourself a bit (hell who needs an excuse?) My feet feel slightly softer after using the spa, and a bit more relaxed, as indeed does my whole body! Hmmmmm on to my all in all roundup opinion part……….

>>My Opinion<<
Well I am definitely glad I purchased this foot spa, it was cheap, (I don`t like paying for features that I won`t use, same with everything!!) and it seems to do the trick! I would recommend it to anyone, who thinks they`re feet could use some sort of pampering. I love using it, it is quick and simple, and really does relax your whole body! The only disadvantage I can think of is that it makes quite a noise, so you might have trouble watching Tv or listening to people talking whilst its in use!
All in all, i woud recommend this to absolutely everyone, as there has to be a time when your feet ache( and if there isn`t then i really hate you :P)

Cheers for the read
Kayxx
