I work in the hospitality industry, and spend long periods of time on my feet and walking around.
At the end of a long day, they often feel like two lumps of meat that have been pummelled by a butcher. Hot, sweaty, swollen, and uncomfortable.

But when I get home or into my hotel then I have a marvellous Remington Aroma foot spa (model F7027) that is guaranteed to ease the discomfort of my aching tootsies.
The water is always just the right temperature because it’s controlled by a thermostat, and it has two moulded rests for your feet.
You can’t overfill it and cause a mess when you turn it on as it has a fill marker.
It has little massage pads on the bottom, which gently massage your feet with a pleasant and soothing sensation. There are two speeds, fast and slow, so you can choose whether you want a gentle or more vigorous massage.
The recommended time you should leave your feet immersed is 20 minutes, otherwise they tend to come out looking like prunes. All wrinkled and disgusting.

Mine came with four aromatherapy tablets, lavender, peppermint, and two other varieties. These leave your feet felling really refreshed.
You also get two oils that you can rub into your feet afterwards.
There’s no need to buy the tablets or extras recommended and supplied by Remington, despite them warning you not to use any other kinds. You can use whatever ones take your fancy once the ones they supply run out.

It comes supplied with a small pedicure set for your feet, including a pumice stone, and brush and massage attachments. These store away neatly under the lid when it’s not in use.
The pumice stone is great for removing hard skin from your feet once the hot water has softened it up sufficiently.

I got my foot spa in a present, but they generally retail at about £40.
The Remington foot spa is a great buy for anybody who spends a lot of time on their feet, or for anyone who simply likes to pamper themselves.
