I have a condition called Lupus which mostly affects my legs and feet. My lovely daughter bought me this foot spa as an early Christmas present ( think she was fed up of all the moaning!)
I wasn't convinced about foot spas but WOW!
You get:
The foot spa A lid A pumice stone 3 aromatherapy oils (Lemon, Lavender and Peppermint) Instructions
So then, you have to decide which oil to use ...decisions, decisions. My feet were hot and burning so I used the cooling Peppermint oil. You just fill with water to the maximum line (I suggest you put a towel on the floor first), put the lid on, add 2 capfuls of oil, put your feet in and turn it on. There are 2 settings - I put it on high but the noise got on my nerves so I turned it down. I didn't think it'd be so good on low but it was just as relaxing. The only problem I had with it was trying to get my 3 year old granddaughter away from it so I could get MY feet in
You can vary the effects by making your own oil blends if you're into aromatherapy - it's great when you've got a cold. It should be used for a maximum of 20 minutes which is ideal coz you can 'spa' your feet for 20 minutes then, after the water and oil have done their job, use the pumice on hard skin then pop your feet back in for a minute or two. Dry them and voila; soft, refreshed, fresh smelling feet. It's easy to empty after use, too. just lift the lid off and empty the spa into the sink. A quick rinse and wipe out and it's ready for the next time
This foot spa comes highly recommended. It was worth every penny and gets lots of use
