Advantages: Gets hair straighter
Disadvantages: Doesn't get very hot

...power socket. (in the Argos catologue, 3m cables are advertised as 'salon length cables' - 3m is nearly double the length of this products cable.) The Remington CS2000 sort of does the job, but nothing like a salon-standard product. It comes down to the phrase 'you get what you pay for'. I don't regret buying them - I'd have been more annoyed at paying £50+ for something I couldn't get to grips with using. At least I know now that I will invest in a higher quality product in a year or two. The remington CS2000 is a reasonable starter product to learn the technique of straightening hair but its very basic and you could outgrow them quick and soon want another pair. Advantages: Drys quickley, full bodied hair, healthy shine, multi settings, reasonably priced.

...I first tried the Big Shot hairdryer by Remington when a female friend came to visit. We both have the same long, flat, body lacking, dull hair and I figured if it could improve her hair then maybe it could work for me. I was not disappointed! The big Shot seems to have more power behind it and blows the air out more quickley than many hairdryers I've used. I found this means I can dry my hair more quickley which is great in the mornings but it is also great for giving my hair a full bodied look if I blast the roots. With the aid of a large round brush the powerful air flow can be used to achieve an all over full bodied glamourous style perfect for a night out. ...This particular Remington D 2315 T Travel / Plus hairdryer, is fairly handy as it is the perfect size and perfect shape for a trip or holiday, wherever or whenever you happen to be going, you can just grab it and chuck it a bag instantly and then dash out the door. It has a decently lengthed cord which i find very helpful as this enables you to move further away or around from the socket. This will be especially good if the area around the socket is unable to be stood on, and this is great if you want to have little wander around, incase you would want to do something such as grab the phone, or remote for something. However there was minor problem i found with the airflow settings on this specific hairdryer.
