Advantages: It curls and straighten the underneath of my hair Disadvantages: It burns you and doesn't straighten the top of my hair
...RemingtonCS3000/1001 Ceramic Hair Straightener
I was so dying to have a straightener so when my gran finally bought me one, I was over the moon because I thought no more wavy hair but 7 months later am I still overmoon? Let's find out.
You can buy this straightener (CS3000) in Argos, Comet, Tesco, Boots etc. They will cost you from £19.40-2.99. Cheapest is at Tesco for £20.48 (free delivery). Argos does it cheaper for £19.40 but you do have a delivery fee with that so it makes it more expensive than Tesco and most expensive I've found it at Freemans at £29.99.
It's black with white/yellow Ceramic plates. The ceramic coating enables it to glide easier through your hair. It has a cable of 3 metres so you can actually use them in a mirror far away from a plug. They are very light weight which makes them easy to handle...

...I used to have RemingtonsCS3000/1001 straighteners. Unfortunately, they broke a couple of weeks ago. So I thought right, it's the sales surely I can find a bargain that will straighten my long locks and boy, did I!
* Why these straighteners stood out from the crowd *
The brand. As a brand, Babyliss make loads of different beauty products like curlers, hairdryer, foot spa, etc. Throughout my life, I've had a number of Babyliss' products and they have never failed me.
The price. I would never go for the cheapest straighteners again but I can't afford to pay £100 (at least) for GHDs. I need quality at an affordable price. These were originally 44.99 but at Argos, they were reduced to £22.99. I know you can get these also on Amazon for £19.96 but did not want to wait a week to receive the straighteners.
The Features...

...to complete it, there are flyaways and, my hair doesn't look anywhere near as professional a finish of the salon. So, to keep my hair tame and be able to style it sleeker I needed the help of a set of straighteners.
At the time of my purchase, Remington had 2 models the CS3000 (~£24) and the newer model S1002 (~£34), unsure of which to go for I contacted Remington customer services. After a helpful chat with customer services I was convinced the newer model S1002 that costs approx. £10 more with the flat slim design was the one to go for as it had the added bonus of having a Teflon coating on top of the ceramic, making them non-stick (just like your non-stick Teflon cooking pans!).
*Note - I paid £0 for mine -read on to find out how and where!
The first thing I noticed when I got the S1002 out the box is how slim looking...

I decided to by an epilater after a recommendation from a friend. i was told that epilation was alot better for your skin than shaving, that it was a quick process and would make the hair take longer to grow back.
I admit i chose this particually... more
