I rate these straighteners very highly, they're cheap, safe and easy to use.
The straighteners heat up to 200 degrees in a matter of 1-2 minutes and are very easy to use. Other straighteners I've used in the past trap pieces of hair in the hinge but I had no trouble with these.
Not only was my hair poker straight but they also added a shine by smoothing the hair.
The heat proof matt included in the box is perfect for protecting surfaces especially wood and carpets.
I loved how long the cable was (3m), you can have them plugged in to the other side of the room if needed.
It was very quick to do my hair as I could separate large sections of hair at a time. The irons were very effective and I only needed to spend about 5 minutes to obtain the look I wanted after drying.

Personally to me the only real disadvantage to the product was that there is no indicator as to when the irons are hot enough.
I have alomst completely naturally staright hair, so had no problems, however I imagine for people with very curly, thick or afro/caribbean hair they may not be as effective as the more expensive models or may take much longer.
Also there are no different heat options on the device. This may cause problems for people who know more specifically what temperature they require.

To conclude I would highly recommend these hair straighteners. They are an excellent product, especially for such a reasonable price. However if you are looking for something with more attachments, accessories or functions perhaps try a model such as Remington Digital Ceramic Straighteners but expect to pay more for them.
