I own remington straighteners and I personally would recommend then. my hair has a natural kink and is very wavey and when i use the straighteners my hair becomes poker straight. They do become very very hot because there is no heat settings which is an advantage really with my type of hair as with other straighteners i have used it takes a while to do my hair, but with remingtons the time spent doing your hair decreases. ...burn your hair I have never burnt my hair using remingtons. They are very easy to use as all you do is plug them in. I have noticed that your not waiting ages for them to heat up they heat up very quickly which is good for people who are in a rush. Remingtons are good for styling your hair using the straighteners, i curl my hair using using them and it makes you look like you have natural curls. If you can't afford a GHD, then this is the straightener for you, especially if your hair is already more or less straight then there's no point on wasting money on such a high tec straightener like a GHD, this will do the trick for you! If your hair is curley then just wait a bit for it to heat up before you start using it straight away! As it does not have any heat settings, it can get up to a hefty amount of degrees so be careful not to burn yourself. ...
...cord which is always handy :-p.... I have tried a GHD, and ofcourse a GHD is better, but after a while you realise all straighteners are more or less the same! You can even curl with it if you know your stuff! but it takes really long and is a big headache. (better off getting a curler, would recommend Andrew Collinge) Anyway, for me this is a very good straightener as my hair is naturally straight and so i dont need a GHD!! ... Read review
