...I first tried the Big Shot hairdryer by Remington when a female friend came to visit. We both have the same long, flat, body lacking, dull hair and I figured if it could improve her hair then maybe it could work for me. I was not disappointed! The big Shot seems to have more power behind it and blows the air out more quickley than many hairdryers I've used. I found this means I can dry my hair more quickley which is great in the mornings but it is also great for giving my hair a full bodied look if I blast the roots. With the aid of a large round brush the powerful air flow can be used to achieve an all over full bodied glamourous style perfect for a night out. ...they are and they are very easy to hold. They come in a dull grey matt graphite finish and the ceramic plates inside are a dull gold colour. I'd say the plates are about 1¼ inches in width (or about 3cm) so they are not too wide to handle or style with and neither would I say they are too narrow to get anything done with. If you have masses of very thick, curly hair, you may be better off with Remington's wide straightener. Another astonishing thing you notice when you first go to use these straighteners is just how long the cable is, its very long! (3m) so you won't find yourself leaning and trying to stay as close as possible to power source when styling -you have ultimate freedom of movement. Advantages: WET TO DRY

...I brought this wet 2 dry remington s 8001 hair straightner one year ago , from comet.for £65. It is grey in colour, it has 8 holes on the top . it has silver metalic plates. It has 2X protection . Its made in CHINA. It comes with a styleish case. and some hair clips. When I first brought this hair straigtener , I thought it wont last long , beause of my perivious experiance with other brand hair straigteners. But REMINGTON proved me wrong , its being a year and its still in the same condition as I brought it ,I also use it nearly every day. The experiance I tend to straigtend my hair when it wet, remington is very good straigtener to straigten your hair when its wet, it is very easy to straigten your hair when it wet with remington.
