As many of you will know from a previous review I don't have much faith in hairdryers! But this little baby came for free!!!

I don't know how but somewhere in my Avon order I must have won it - because it turned up with an order a while back.

I generally just leave my hair to dry naturally - it looks ok usually and with my luck any dryer I use just cuts out when half my hair is dry - leaving one side beautifully turned under and the other a mass of kinky waves.

Well, not any more - I avoided using this for some time because of the aforementioned problem but decided one day to try it!!!

How nice! - it has 2 heat settings, one cold setting and a cold shot button. It also sports a removable grill at the back to get rid of all the fluff that somehow accumulates at the air intake end (technical stuff that!), a concentrator nozzle for directional blowing AND it dries my hair!!! Whoopee!

Nicely finished in blue and silver it has my long hair dry in just over ten minutes. It has no diffuser but then I don't need one, the cord is long enough to reach whether I am sitting or standing, is lightweight with 2000 watts power and it has a twelve month warranty even though it was free!

I have looked on the internet and the cheapest I have seen them is around £18 - I can only say it is well worth the investment!
