Advantages: Fast drying, shine and volume Disadvantages: No 'bits and pieces' just the dryer
...-ons that the other dryers seemed to have and took it to the counter.
The RemingtonD 4410 looked a bit pathetic in it's lonely box. Half the size of the many of the other dryers and without any accompaniments I was a little disappointed. For the weeks following Christmas I ignored my D4410 and continued to use my mum's slightly heftier blow drier, until I returned to University, about 2 weeks later.
The first time I used the hair dryer my mind was immediately changed. It is simple to use with 2 speed settings and 3 heat settings ranging from cool to hot. There is also a cold blast button, good for when you burn your ears. Although slightly boring looking in grey and silver, the dryer is stylish and despite not being in the shape of a duck, I learned to love the D4410 very quickly, and here's why:
- There is no doubt that the D4410 brings...

...I got this on special offer from Boots for about £16 and it has a lot of features. The handle has 3 switches, one has 3 heat settings and one has 3 power settings, the last is a cool shot button. the highest power setting is quite strong and dries hair fast. the ionic feature is supposed to stop hair drying out too much. I'm not sure if it does but my hair (shoulder length) doesn't seem to get too dry even on the highest settings. the cool button is useful but tends to blow the hair too much even on low settings.
It is quite heavy and long and I kept hitting my head iwth it to start with (!) but it seems solid. The only thing I dislike is its too easy to knock the switches when in use.
overall I am pleased, it dries my hair quickly and looks like it will last OK as long as the switches don't give out. Some people might find it too...

Advantages: Lots of accessories, long cable, nice carry case Disadvantages: Heat settings not very good.
...My husband had just broken the buttons on my last hairdryer whilst using it as some kind of DIY tool (don't ask!) so I was in desperate need of a new one.
I have naturally curly hair but also straighten it from time to time, so wanted one that came with both a diffuser and a concentrator nozzle. This limited my choices a bit but when I saw this set on offer at £19.99 (normal price supposedly £39.99) I thought I'd give it a try. Although the hairdryer is made by Remington it is actually packaged as a Charles Worthington product which I thought was a trusted name. This along with the stylish carry case and the selection of accessories all helped to convince me this was a good choice. The deciding factor though for me was that on the outer packaging it stated that the hairdryer used the lastest Ionic Technology that I'd been reading...

I wash my hair every 2 days and I'm always blow drying it, so I wanted a good hair-dryer. My most recent one was really heavy and made my arm ache a short while after blow drying my hair, so I wanted something light weight and of good quality.

It was a short time before Christmas 2007 when I got the phone call. The one I dread every year "you've got £25 to spend from your Gran." Why is that such a problem? Well it goes like this. Every year around 2 weeks before Christmas I am asked to... more
When my Revlon developed an alarming noise and packed up I decided to go for a replacement salon style hairdryer with a long life AC motor.
My other requirement was a dryer with a long cable. Fortunately, maufacturers have now cottoned on the the... more
