INTRO

When it comes to styling my hair I am no pro! I cut my hair from below my shoulders to a pixie cut in January 2011. I did this for 2 reasons. 1. Because I was sick of every girl my age looking the same , and 2. because I used to just shove my hair in a pony tail because i didn't no what to do with it! I love my short hair because it is easy to style and maintain. I wash my hair as normal , shampoo twice then condition. And then I dry and straighten it. The hairdryer I used to have was just a cheap old asda hairdryer. I needed a new one and I actually won this in a competition which was lucky! PACKAGING

The hairdryer comes well packed in a strong cardboard box that matches the colour of the hairdryer. Inside the box the hairdryer is wrapped in a strong 'bubble wrap type' plastic which keeps it well protected. It comes which all the instructions which is good too.

PRICE

The price for this hairdryer varies. It starts from £24.99 and can range up to £39.99. It is quite cheap compared to other Remington hairdryers , however I personally wouldn't have paid that much for it !

APPEARANCE

The hair dryer is purple and black. It is very sleek and stylish and looks very professional. It has a retractable 1.8m cord which is very handy because it stops the cord getting tangled up with all the other cords in your cupboard! The handle isn't that long so I found my self over lapping my hand with the 'cold air' button every now and then. The hair dryer has a removable nozzle to allow more air to blow through. The hair dryer itself is actually rather heavy so if you don't have strong arms to be able to hold the dryer in the air for a few minutes then you may want to look for another one! There is a button on the side of the dryer which retracts the cord back into the handle. There is also an on/off button which 2 different air speeds. There is also a heat adjustment button which allows you to change the heat of the air. And finally there is a 'cool' button which when held down the air changes from hot to cool. This is handy when drying your fringe/bangs as I hate blowing hot air in my face!

PERFORMANCE

This dries my chin length, thick hair in about 2 minutes which is really good! The air blows out twice as quick as my old hair dryer so it dries my hair a lot faster! It leaves my hair feeling lovely and soft. I will pick at the noise it makes though. It makes a very high pitched noise when the air is on full power. Now I don't know whether this happens because it is a new hair dryer but it is quite annoying!

OVERALL

Remington are a reliable brand and they know what people want with a hairdryer! It dries your hair really quick and leaves it looking lovely and feeling soft. The retractable cord is really handy ! It is a little bit heavy and does make an annoying noise but other than that it is a lovely hair dryer! It comes with a 3 year guarantee which is really good because if it break within that time they will replace it for you!
