Remington DS 2000 PRO Style KIT SET

Advantages: Gets hair straighter
Disadvantages: Doesn't get very hot

...power socket. (in the Argos catologue, 3m cables are advertised as 'salon length cables' - 3m is nearly double the length of this products cable.) The Remington CS2000 sort of does the job, but nothing like a salon-standard product. It comes down to the phrase 'you get what you pay for'. I don't regret buying them - I'd have been more annoyed at paying £50+ for something I couldn't get to grips with using. At least I know now that I will invest in a higher quality product in a year or two. The remington CS2000 is a reasonable starter product to learn the technique of straightening hair but its very basic and you could outgrow them quick and soon want another pair. ...it is nice and easy to access and store the bits and bobs inside. It has "Remington Hair Envy" on the front, and looks lovely sitting in my bedroom. It is a really attractive box and great for people who don't have much space to store a hairdryer, the box wouldn't out of place in any room! Ok, the hairdryer itself. It is actually a 2000 Watt hairdryer, which is one of the higher wattage hairdryers you can buy. I find this is plenty strong enough to dry my hair, and I wouldn't buy any less than a 2000W one now. The hairdryer main body is silver, with a shiny funnel where the air comes out. There are 2 switches located on the inside of the handle, one for the temperature of the air and one for the power. There are 2 options for the power; full power, and medium power (as well as off), and there are 3 heat settings; Very hot, hot and cool... Read review

Advantages: All in one solution to all the grooming needs

...I was searching for a complete solution to Body grooming and after 2 months research on internet and various magazines I finally zeroed on this groomer from remington. I have been using it for 6 months now and am really happy with the kind of features it has. At first, I took a little while to adjust to the hair length setting but once I was comfortable with it the results of grooming were much better. It also has an extra shaver attachment, which I found usefule to give complete finish to the grooming. Moreover, since it is cordless, once charged it can be used without the worry of the length of the wire. In a nutshell, It does what it says. I would surely recommend it as a value for money for first time buyers like me.... Read review
