I first tried the Big Shot hairdryer by Remington when a female friend came to visit. We both have the same long, flat, body lacking, dull hair and I figured if it could improve her hair then maybe it could work for me. I was not disappointed!

The big Shot seems to have more power behind it and blows the air out more quickley than many hairdryers I've used. I found this means I can dry my hair more quickley which is great in the mornings but it is also great for giving my hair a full bodied look if I blast the roots. With the aid of a large round brush the powerful air flow can be used to achieve an all over full bodied glamourous style perfect for a night out.

The nozzle of the Big Shot appears slightly narrower than some hairdryers. I found this great as it concentrates the air flow on a certain section of hair allowing you to style that section better (i.e. the style lasts longer) and again give extra body to the hair.

There is a "special" push button on the big shot which if used after drying the bulk of you hair, somehow gives your hair an overall shine. I must admit I don't quite understand how this works, but it does so I'm not going to complain. My only dislike about this button is that it is the type that requires you to hold your finger over it and inevitably your fingure can slip off in the midst of hair drying.

The Big Shot has several heat settings as do most modern hairdryers. I personally find that using the cold setting after drying/styling my hair makes my style last a little longer.

This hairdryer is larger than my previous one and so a little heavier. I found this took a bit of getting use to but in comparison to some other high spec. hairdryers I've used it is not very heavy and so I don't see that this would be a problem to anyone.

This hairdryer is available as part of the Remington Envy pack containing hair products, or by itself from approximately £15 which is no more than you would pay for an ordinary hairdryer. I paid a little over £15 for it and felt this to be a reasonable price.
