I wash my hair every 2 days and I'm always blow drying it, so I wanted a good hair-dryer. My most recent one was really heavy and made my arm ache a short while after blow drying my hair, so I wanted something light weight and of good quality.
***WHY DID I GO FOR THIS HAIR-DRYER?*** My hair straighteners are by Remington and they are a well known brand, especially for electrical/beauty items. I saw this in the boots catalogue priced at £19.99 which I thought was very reasonable.
The hair-dryer, was not only a reasonable price, but also quite small and lightweight. It was also known as an Ionic dryer, which I know gives better results when blow-drying. It also has a cool shot, which I find is important to set your hair-style. It also mentioned that it was faster at drying which is a bonus as it means less time on drying my hair when I'm getting ready to go out! If you are like me and always take ages to get ready on a night out, you will envy this product!

***PUTTING IT TO THE TEST*** When I first used this hair-dryer, the first thing I noticed was how light it was compared to my old Babyliss hair-dryer. The noise wasn't as loud as my last hair-dryer either.
I styled my hair into the normal style and using my round brush and the concentrator I started drying/styling my hair. I did notice that the product dried my hair a lot quicker and the temperature of the hair-dryer was just right. My last one, sometimes got so hot, it would make my scalp itch from where it was so hot!
The dryer was very straight forward to use. It was easy to control and easy to hold even after long periods of about 10-15mins! I use the cool shot for about 3 minutes all over my hair to set the style. After drying my hair, I immediately noticed how much healthier my hair looked and how much shinier and frizz free it looked. Normally I have quite a few wispy strands at the top of my head but with this dryer, they were significantly reduced. My hair felt softer and felt much healthier. It didn't feel dry or brittle.
It has a long salon length cord (2.5m), so it stretches quite far. I can even dry my hair in front of the mirror standing up, whereas before I hand to sit down as the cord wasn't long enough!
The concentrator bit to focus on drying a particular part of the hair at once is easy to push onto the end of the dryer and easy to remove. Its also really easy to use the concentrator, and the hair-dryer, whilst using a round brush for an even smoother, sleeker finish.
***COMPARISON TO MY OLD HAIR DRYER***
OLD HAIR DRYER - Was heavy and made my arm ache - Had to hold down the cool shot button to activate - Left my hair feeling dry and brittle - Left my hair with wispy/dry frizzy bits - Temperature got too hot - Took quite a while to dry my hair (much longer than the Remington!)
DUAL TURBO 3000 (NEW DRYER) - Lightweight and easy to hold - Cool shot button is on a rocker switch so no need to keep holding down a button - Hair felt soft and sleek - No frizz & reduced amount of wispy bits - Perfect temperature and easy to control speed/temperature - Quick and easy drying - Less noise
***OVERALL OPINION*** If you don't for this particular hair-dryer, which is extremely good and reliable, definitely go for an Ionic dryer, as they do perform up to their standards and are better for your hair. You will notice the difference in your hair first time you use this dryer and you'll wish you had bought one way before you did!
Remington is a well-known brand which is why I went for this make. There are other brands out there which sell Ionic hair-dryers, but I would recommend this one 100%.
We all love to have healthy and shiny looking hair and we all like to look our best, especially when we go out, this is a must for your beauty list, if you want to maintain that beautiful looking hair, which looks like you've just walked out from a salon. With this hair-dryer you can achieve this!

i have very very curly frizzy hair, this dryer helps to tame the frizz and straighten the hair, its very light so when drying my long hair it doesn't hurt my arms holding it up. it also helps when trying to straighten with a brush, the nozzle is slim so directs the heat and ions to a particular point. it is very good, the only problem, like all dryers is the noise. the cool shot helps to set my hair and there is also a turbo dry for fast drying. ...
