Advantages: Fast heat up
Disadvantages: only one heat setting

...I bought these Remington Hair Straighteners after using the old bulky straighteners for several years. The Remington straighteners are fast heat up and only take about a minute to reach the correct temperature.Because the have ceramic hot plates the give an even heat so do the job quickly and it means you don't have to go over the same section of hair again and again which is much better for your hair. I shopped around before I bought these and was supprised at the different prices, some of them were up to £90+. A friend of mine bought the expensive ones and I have to say that the Remington straighteners do as good a job at a fraction of the price.All in all I think they are a good buy.... Read review

Advantages: Works extremely quick and effectively.
Disadvantages: When used, my hair got tangled in the corners and pulled it out.

...I thought the product was very efficent and done a fantastic job, but found sometimes when i used it, it pulled on my hair, this was because it tangled in the inner corners of the straighting iron which could sometimes be abit painful. The cable is very, very, very long so you can move about with it, which comes in very handy when getting ready and need to multi-task! The heat is perfect and its hassel free with no adjustments! I found this product very straight forward to use a would recommend it to everyone! Remington is a fantastic make and has never let me down once. The price is equally fantastic, it's a steal at under £60. Absolute star buy from Remington a must have!... Read review

Advantages: the way your hair looks after using
Disadvantages: the heat of the product

...I own remington straighteners and I personally would recommend then. my hair has a natural kink and is very wavey and when i use the straighteners my hair becomes poker straight. They do become very very hot because there is no heat settings which is an advantage really with my type of hair as with other straighteners i have used it takes a while to do my hair, but with remingtons the time spent doing your hair decreases. As they do get very hot a concern to many people is that they will be burn your hair I have never burnt my hair using remingtons. They are very easy to use as all you do is plug them in. I have noticed that your not waiting ages for them to heat up they heat up very quickly which is good for people who are in a rush. Remingtons are good for styling your hair using the straighteners, i curl my hair using using them... Read review
