...Although I am Chinese, I have very wavy/curly hair. It is unruly to say the least and the only way to keep it under control most days, is by tying it up in a bobble, and hoping that it doesn't try to take over the world! On the days I can be bothered (or if I am getting ready for a special occasion) I will straighten it. This used to be a real chore as it would take me about 40 minutes, and would rarely be completely straight. Thanks to my boyfriend, who bought me these for christmas, my hair is no longer unruly, and it takes me half the time. What You Get: These slimline straighteners are made by Remington, a good and reliable brand in electrical hair care. They came in a lovely black suede box which was heat protected and inside the box came an instruction dvd, booklet, guarantee, the straightners and a travel, heat protected travel pouch for the straightners. Advantages: the way your hair looks after using

...I own remington straighteners and I personally would recommend then. my hair has a natural kink and is very wavey and when i use the straighteners my hair becomes poker straight. They do become very very hot because there is no heat settings which is an advantage really with my type of hair as with other straighteners i have used it takes a while to do my hair, but with remingtons the time spent doing your hair decreases. As they do get very hot a concern to many people is that they will be burn your hair I have never burnt my hair using remingtons. They are very easy to use as all you do is plug them in. I have noticed that your not waiting ages for them to heat up they heat up very quickly which is good for people who are in a rush. Remingtons are good for styling your hair using the straighteners, i curl my hair using using them... Read review
