I actually have 2 of these. The first I bought was a Remmington but when we moved house I misplaced it. I definitely had to have one but was unable to find another Remmington and bought a different make from Innovations. Needless to say I found my old one soon afterwards.
This is a very useful little gadget for shaving the bobbles that develop on items of clothing such as; socks, T-Shirts, jerseys and tracksuits. It has saved me from throwing away some items of clothing I thought were beyond it. After giving them a shave they were almost as good as new.
I use it when I am doing the ironing. It’s quite fun shaving the bobbles off and I do sometimes get carried away. A little light entertainment in the sheer drudgery of housework.
By one, I definitely find it difficult to do without it.
Unfortunatley I cannot remember how much the Remmington was but the other make from innovations is about £5.99. See if you can source one elsewhere as innovations are rather expensive. I originally bought the Remmington from Argos but have not seen it in their catalogue again. If I come across one elsewhere I will update this site with the name of the company.
