Remington H 1080 N Classic Setter

Advantages: heat settings, silky shiny hair, good as GHD
Disadvantages: Doesn't curl like some straightners can.

...I have this straightner and it is JUST AS GOOD as GHD! It makes my hair shiny, it hasnt damaged it much at all, you can also curl with it, however it straightens better tbh. Its sleek design and glides through your hair easily. However, my hair is naturally very straight but i do have a serious cows lick under my fringe n it straightners it out easily! The heat settings is great for what type of hair you have, i usually have it on its highest because i am in a rush in the morning and it takes less time! The wire is SO long which is great for walking around with when doing your hair! It also has a swivel cable so you dont get any restrictions. The price is also SO good! i was really suprised, i got mine for christmas and i think it was about £30 from argos, however know i think its a little cheaper if you shop around. I thoroughly... ...to find an alternative ceramic hair straightener… I spent well over a year deciding which hair straightener to go for and it's about a year since Ciao added this Remington product after my request and I'm glad to see there are already 3 User reviews. Now I'm finally able to form my own opinion after a years usage. Why Remington? And not GHD's… Due to the reasons mentioned above of high cost of GHD's I had also read worrying reports about GHD's blowing up, yes that's right, people have mentioned they saw flames coming out from the cable, whilst others have reported after a while they stop coming on or heat up much hotter than before. Advantages: WET TO DRY
Disadvantages: not so goog on dried hair

...I brought this wet 2 dry remington s 8001 hair straightner one year ago , from comet.for £65. It is grey in colour, it has 8 holes on the top . it has silver metalic plates. It has 2X protection . Its made in CHINA. It comes with a styleish case. and some hair clips. When I first brought this hair straigtener , I thought it wont last long , beause of my perivious experiance with other brand hair straigteners. But REMINGTON proved me wrong , its being a year and its still in the same condition as I brought it ,I also use it nearly every day.
