I bought the Remington MB 320C rechargeable beard trimmer three months ago and thought that I'd share my experience with the world. I have a beard, partly for idle non shaving reasons but also because I was getting increasingly fed up with staring at my father in the mirror every morning. I did a little research before buying the Remington both on Ciao and Amazon. I paid £19.99 for this trimmer from an eBay trader but with my eBay voucher for £10 this became very cheap. It has a charging/recharge indicator and is supplied with its charger This model is the first that I have used and I am really impressed with it. It takes no more than 5 minutes about once a week to keep my beard in trim. It is possible to set the zoom wheel which adjusts the length of cut anywhere between 1 and 9, 1 is very short and I find that 6 suits me best. The shortest setting cuts at approximately 1.5mm and the longest at 18mm. When you have cut the main part of your beard you simply change the setting to a lower number or remove the trimmer comb to do your neck and anywhere else that you want to keep shorter. When you have finished you will find that most of the cut hair has been retained in the removable trimmer comb and is easily disposed of. The cutter assembly pops up in order to be cleaned using the little brush and a good blow. There is a little trimmer that pops up easily to trim the moustache and side-burns and while it does seem flimsy it has given me no problems.
One of the most impressive things about this beard trimmer is the battery life. I charged it fully (16 hours) as instructed when I received it and it has not needed re-charging since! This would be very useful for a man who spends a lot of time away from home, just charge it up before you go away and leave the charger behind with full confidence. The trimmer is remarkably light weight and easy to handle and comes with a small beard comb and a little brush for cleaning. The instructions are clear & concise and in the usual range of languages and the whole affair fits into the neat carrying case also provided. The trimmer is not washable and would probably be ruined if dropped in water.
I can recommend this beard trimmer because it does a good job, is reliable and represents outstanding value for money.
