Advantages: Ceramic blades, variable cutting length, rechargeable cordless use, pop-up precision trimmer. Disadvantages: Recharging cord does not plug into bathroom shaving socket.

It has 9 pre-set lengths (1.5mm to 18mm) of cutting, easily adjusted by a locking zoom-wheel, so you can achieve anything from designer stubble, to a thick but well-kept and tidy beard. It is also the only product of its kind to use ceramic rather than steel blades. This means you never need to ... ...rechargeable battery, so you don't need to have it plugged in whilst shaving. I have found the charge lasts for about 30-40 minutes, but it does have an early-warning low battery indicator light on the unit, so you have ample warning when you're about to run out of juice.
