It is quite a chunky shaver and unfortunately it doesnt give me an all over close shave. The shaver struggles in the harder to get at areas of the face, it is extremely noisy and most of the shaved hair falls to the floor rather than being captured in the shaver. In my opinion, the Philips multi head shavers provide a much better, even shave, albeit not as close as foil shavers in the easy to get at areas. On balance multi head is best for me. I therefore would not recommended this Remington

I've had bad experience with this model and wouldn't recommend it at all. When I first bought it, after about 4 weeks of use, both the battery indicator and the power button were faulty. I sent it back for repair and everything seemed fine. Now 4 weeks later again the power button is again dodgy, sometimes it turns on for no reason and I can't switch it off again, having to wait 45 mins for the battery to finally die. its also VERY noisy! I had an older and cheaper remington shaver before which didnt have any of these problems. for me this newer model is a real pain the neck and i'm not even sure if i should bother sending it back for repair ...
