Advantages: GHD quality for half the price Disadvantages: I keep pressing the "OFF" button by mistake!
...So, like every other woman/girl I love GHD's-I used a friend's once and was hooked-hers were a gift, but they cost from £95 from selected hair salons. Kept umming and ahhing whether to fork out for some, in the meantime used other people's!
When I was getting ready to go out one night, a friend had brought Remington 2x ceramic straightners round-I used these and could not tell the difference between GHD'S.
Ok, these cost around £49.99 and you can get them from anywhere-Argos, Index etc. They heat up in around 10 seconds-it's only a few seconds more than GHD's anyway!
They have ceramic plated irons, and are fairly slim, they have an on/off sliding button, and a red light appears when they are switched on-the only downfal about these straighteners is that when you are using them, your thumb may turn them off again...

...Remington BP600 Bath Massage Pillow
The remington bath massage pillow was given to me by my boyfriend as he had aquired it some time ago and never used it, during a big clearout if I didn't take it, it was going to be binned! What a waste that would've been! The pillow is from Remington's Spa Therapy Collection and other products in that range are bath spa's, foot spa's and other massage products. I havn't seen this particular product in stores but had a look on e-bay and there going for around £15-£20 on there.
The bath massage pillow comes boxed with the pillow already inside it's white cover, there is a charger included and two bottles of aromatherapy oil; sensual oil and relaxing oil. It is intended to massage the neck, shoulders and upper back and can be used wet or dry. The oils are simply a little extra to add to your...

So short of spending a week or two on research I did the unthinkable and went to the shops! First stop Boots (well in fact only stop, being male I do one shop where I know the product I am after is sold and end of!) low and behold they had a decent range in both style and price, also being male (at least being me I went straight for the cheapest and started working up from there).
I chose the Remington Titanium HC600 hair clippers sounds more like a bike than a small hair appliance but that's the power of marketing for you.
I chose these clippers over the others on offer for primarily two reasons firstly they are rechargeable and secondly they did not have a daft shortening lever on the side to make the cutter you use 2mm...

I decided to by an epilater after a recommendation from a friend. i was told that epilation was alot better for your skin than shaving, that it was a quick process and would make the hair take longer to grow back.
I admit i chose this particually... more
Here I go again writing about straighteners, except this time I have lots of nice things to say about them because they are brilliant..! Okay so my last pair of straighteners were a little bit rubbish and burnt my hair into little pieces, but these ones... more
