Advantages: Close cut, nice feel. Disadvantages: Very regular cleaning needed
If, like me you can't get on with wet-shaving, you need a decent electric model. I've used this particular one since Christmas having picked it up in a sale in Argos as my old one had finally given up the ghost.
I may have a variation on the above description as mine is the R9410 Titanium and IS washable according to the manual and the decal on the front.
It is curved (like a banana) in shape making it easy to hold which counteracts its rather heavy feel. For shaving it has three floating heads that give a close cut if you move in a small circular motion. The manual suggests that you don't press too heavily as you may damage the cutting heads so it may not be quite as robust as other makes. I've not had a problem thus far.
The back of the shaver had an inbuilt trimmer for sideburns that easily opens up with the press of a switch ...
Advantages: A close shave and good quality shaver with Titanium blades Disadvantages: No charge indicator
RemingtonR320 R3 Titanium Series Rotary Shaver - Designed by BMW Group DesignworksUSA
I quote
"Now this product will shave you closer than a blade or your money back" wasn't that the claim of Victor Kyam in the 80's well he must have been talking about this shaver. Anyway enough of my mothers problems and back to this shaver, I decided that at least I ...
Advantages: Close shave, good looks, and cheap Disadvantages: Takes a while to re-charge
Having used a 6 year old Phillips equivalent, I was impressed by the smotthness of the shave. The re-charging facility is slow, but that is a minor problem, and alternative speedier models are available. I purchased the product from Amazon, for around Ģ25, which I feel is excellent value for money.
I like the look of the product too, and it compares well with far more expensive shavers on the market.
I did have to return the product, since the metal prongs, which connect to the charger broke, and this appears to be a known, but rare fault. The product was returned to Remington via Freepost, and I am pleased to say that a replacement, brand new R320 was supplied to me in under a week.
I'm pleased to confirm that not only is there a smooth shave, but I have experienced no cuts, and my 5 o'clock shadow now appears closer to about 7 ...
