The R330 is a has triple floating heads under which are titanium blades, having had these on my previous Remington I can testify that they do stay sharp for a long time. The power button is the push button type (rather than a slider) next to which is a power light. At the back there is a beard trimmer which pops out when the firm slider is push upwards.
When used the R330 performs well, it is about average weight but is noticably quieter in use than my last one. The shave it gives is very good with the 3 independant floating (pivoting) heads adjusting the facial contours well, I even use it on my head as sadly I don't have much hair left. However I don't find the shave as close as my Gillete Fusion but I don't think any electric razor will beat a blade, but again it is better than my last one.
The razor can be used both as a rechargable or when plugged into the mains. A fully charge is quick, after which it operates powerfully, but this does start to fall off a little if you use it for over 20 minutes (even though a full charge should give 45 minutes shaving time) but with it plugged into the mains the power delivery is consistent with no fall off at all.
One of the biggest areas of improvement has been the around the way in which the head can be opened, taken apart and cleaned. The whole head is now hinged and is released by a press of a small button at the front. The main compartment is now designed to be rinsed out. The joined three heads are released by giving the centre locking screw a quarter turn, after this the 3 foils can be detached by giving each one a quarter turn (these can then be washed under the tap) and lifted of to expose the actual baldes, these can then be washed and brushed etc.
In summary this razor offers good performace at a very reasonable price and I would definitel recommend it especially as it comes with a 2 year manufacturer warranty.
