Advantages: A close shave and good quality shaver with Titanium blades Disadvantages: No charge indicator
RemingtonR320 R3 Titanium Series Rotary Shaver - Designed by BMW Group DesignworksUSA
I quote
"Now this product will shave you closer than a blade or your money back" wasn't that the claim of Victor Kyam in the 80's well he must have been talking about this shaver. Now having been a wet shave fan for the past twenty five years and after having had some bad experiances with a variety of dry shavers, I thought that the wet razor Gillette Mach 3 was the best thing since sliced bread. NOW ALL THAT'S CHANGED.......
Oh look a birthday present from my mother and its a new shaver and considering I have had many a row with my mother when I lived with her over the mess with shaving foam on the mirror she should have known I used a wet shave. Anyway enough of my mothers problems and back to this shaver, I decided that at least I ...
Advantages: Close shave, good looks, and cheap Disadvantages: Takes a while to re-charge
Having used a 6 year old Phillips equivalent, I was impressed by the smotthness of the shave. The re-charging facility is slow, but that is a minor problem, and alternative speedier models are available. I purchased the product from Amazon, for around Ģ25, which I feel is excellent value for money.
I like the look of the product too, and it compares well with far more expensive shavers on the market.
I did have to return the product, since the metal prongs, which connect to the charger broke, and this appears to be a known, but rare fault. The product was returned to Remington via Freepost, and I am pleased to say that a replacement, brand new R320 was supplied to me in under a week.
I'm pleased to confirm that not only is there a smooth shave, but I have experienced no cuts, and my 5 o'clock shadow now appears closer to about 7 ...
Advantages: Light, gives a good shave Disadvantages: Takes a long time to achieve the good shave it is capable of.
I am writing this review as a comparison with my previous Remington shaver - a Microscreen 2. I have actually had two Microscreen 2's over a period of about 7 years (the batteries seem to last 3 years or so) and as I have been very happy with these naturally replaced the last shaver with the equivalent current model.
I am writing this review after shaving with the FF-500 every day for 2 months so I feel I can be pretty fair in what I write.
If you already have a Microscreen 2 and are reading this because the battery is failing then get it fixed even if it costs Ģ30. Its worth it. The FF-500 is going to disappoint you.
The biggest difference between the two is the size of the foils - they are of a much smaller radius on the FF-500 and have a long hair trimmer in between them. The small diameter means the cutters get clogged up very ...
