I must admit I am a big fan of GHD hair straighteners. Ever since my Mum bought me a pair of them last Christmas I would never go back to any other brand. However I am a member of the Amazon Vine programme and I received a pair of these Remington Genius straighteners for free.
Genius Straighteners?
Remington state that if you want cutting edge technology that?s usually found in hair salons, then these are the straighteners for you. In fact, Celebrity Hairdresser of the Year, Steven Goldsworthy, goes as far as saying these are the Ferrari of all hair straighteners! After reading this I was certainly intrigued, could they really be as good as they sound?

Advantages: Great Hair Days Disadvantages: Not held in such high prestige?
The particular model that I am refering to in this review, are the RemingtonS1002 slimceramic Teflon coated model. I originally bought these because they were only £35, assuming that they would just about do the job, as I really could not justify paying £100 for GHD straighteners. I thought that GHDs were just a craze, I must admit, it is a craze that has lasted, but I feel they have an unjustified high status.
After using these straighteners for the first time, I knew that I had bought the right ones. My hair is kind of frizzy, but also quite oily, (that's hairdresser talk for greasy!). I have always bought straighteners that included a steamer, to moisturise my hair, which always just made it more frizzy. I grew really fed up of this, and cut it off, myself, into a short bob. Surprise, surprise, not but one month later ...

These have got to be the best hair straighteners I have ever used and there equally as good as GHD's and less than half the price at £34.99 at argos.
