They provide superior protection for healthy looking hair with more shine. The ceramic- tourmaline-nano-silver is rich with ions. It reduces static and frizz. The teflon coating gives easy glide, protection against product build up and prevents snagging and breakage.
The straighteners give instant high heat in 60 seconds, which is great when your in a rush!! The heat is also variable between 140 - 200 degrees C. which gives you a choice depending on your hair type. The one problem with them is they get hot very quickly, therefore by the time you have finished doing your hair the handle can be a bit hot, but not so uncomfortable that you can't hold them! They have an indicator light which shows red when the straighteners are on so it is easy to see and also have a heat protection stand. This is great and is something I have never had on straighteners before. It comes in extremely useful and means you can leave your straighteners to cool without having to worry whether or not they are burning through the mat! They also come with a very useful heat protection bag. This again is the first time I have had one of these and it came in when I went away for the weekend. It is useful for storing the straighteners in for travel but also I am very conscious of making sure they are cold before putting them in my bag for the fear of burning something. With the bag I could pack the straighteners whilst they were still a bit warm with no problems. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't trust it to pack them when they were still hot but I was someone who wouldn't put them anywhere near my bag for at least half an hour after switching them off!!
The 3m swivel cord is great and comes in when you are on holiday as all us girls know they like to put the plug socket well away from any mirror which may be in the room!! They also come with a three year guarentee.

If you use straighteners, I would not hesitate in recommending these to you. I loved my GHDs when I had them but didn't like the price tag too much! For my hair, these are just as good and I would definately say to you to give them a go!!

i brought these straighteners because i had to send off my wet 2 straight ones for repair. these were only temporary but they are absolutely fab and work just as good as my other ones. they heat up really quick and are amazing. the plus is that i only got mine for £14.99, from comet BARGAIN!! so i got good quality ones for a gr8 price. i would definately recommend them if you are looking for cheap and good quality hair straighteners! ...

...it, I picked out this Remington pair.
Within 3 minutes of plugging them in, they are warm enough to start using- they straighten my hair without taking away its natural volume (something the GHD's did- they made it too flat and lifeless) The temperature dial was pretty useless to me, as I just leave the temperature on the warmest setting- but if you only need them to sort out a couple of kinks- you'd probably find the plates get too hot and so you'd ... ...The plates are quite large meaning you can cut down the amount of time you spend straightening. They also come with a handy storage pouch- which is great to keep them tidied away in.
I remember paying around 30pounds for them- A great price, one which I would have gladly paid again if anything was to happen to the pair I bought.
However after 2 years I am still using them and they are still as good as the day I got them! ...

I purchased the S2012 Professional Slim Straighteners approximately five months ago, and I have no complains about it!!
The come with Tourmaline - Ceramic and Teflon coated plates, which do not develop split ends or give you a rough feel. They have Nano silver for straight shiny styles and healthy looking hair. Has a top temperature of 210ºC - be very careful, they heat up in 60 seconds and they become very hot. It has a heat protection stand that ... ...carpet being burnt as the stand holds the straightener away from the surface that it is placed on. Once switched on, a red indicator light appears, so you clearly know when the straightners are one.

Advantages: heat settings, silky shiny hair, good as GHD Disadvantages: Doesn't curl like some straightners can.
...was about £30 from argos, however know i think its a little cheaper if you shop around. I thoroughly reccomend this straightener and i completely trust remington as i have always used their straightners and hair dryers, its inexpensive and does what it says on the box to be honest! ...

These Remington Protect and Shine hair straighteners are quite impressive. I actually bought them because I was in a shop looking at the countless different types of straighteners and a lady came up to me and said she was a hairdresser and that those straightening irons were superb. They're teflon coated and glide really easily over your hair. I love the multiple heat settings dial as you can put it on super hot when you're in a rush or on a gentler ... ...because of the heat settings it's perfect for fine or very coarse hair. (My hair is really wiry and it works a treat on it!)
It heats up amazingly quickly ... less than a minute I'd say, and I love the sleek design as you can easily take it on holiday with you or keep in in a cluttered draw with no problem!
