Advantages: The wide plates are excellent Disadvantages: The steam, so just be sure to hold them the correct way when straightening your hair
...I bought these straightners specifically to take on holiday as the other pair of straightners I had at home I clubbed in with family members to buy, therefore I could not take them away with me on holiday. However instead of using them just whilst I was on holiday I now use these straightners daily. I like the fact that you can use them on wet hair but I LOVE the fact that they are wide plates which makes straighening my hair which is long and thick so much easier. They also make your hair dead straight which is fab.
You can adjust the temperature which I often do when straightening friends hair which is not as long and thick as mine. It also comes with a heat resistant bag, so as soon as you have finished using them you can put them straight into the bag rather than leaving them on the bed or wherever.

Advantages: heat up fast, glides smoothly, ceramic plus Teflon coated, durable, 3 year warranty, safety carry case included and Excellent VALUE for money Disadvantages: on/off switch can get switched off accidentally when holding
...to complete it, there are flyaways and, my hair doesn't look anywhere near as professional a finish of the salon. So, to keep my hair tame and be able to style it sleeker I needed the help of a set of straighteners.
At the time of my purchase, Remington had 2 models the CS3000 (~£24) and the newer model S1002 (~£34), unsure of which to go for I contacted Remington customer services. After a helpful chat with customer services I was convinced the newer model S1002 that costs approx. £10 more with the flat slim design was the one to go for as it had the added bonus of having a Teflon coating on top of the ceramic, making them non-stick (just like your non-stick Teflon cooking pans!).
*Note - I paid £0 for mine -read on to find out how and where!
The first thing I noticed when I got the S1002 out the box is how slim looking...

Advantages: WET TO DRY Disadvantages: not so goog on dried hair
...I brought this wet2 dry remington s 8001 hair straightner one year ago , from comet.for £65.
It is grey in colour, it has 8 holes on the top . it has silver metalic plates. It has 2X protection . Its made in CHINA. It comes with a styleish case. and some hair clips.
When I first brought this hair straigtener , I thought it wont last long , beause of my perivious experiance with other brand hair straigteners.
But REMINGTON proved me wrong , its being a year and its still in the same condition as I brought it ,I also use it nearly every day.
The experiance
I tend to straigtend my hair when it wet, remington is very good straigtener to straigten your hair when its wet, it is very easy to straigten your hair when it wet with remington.
It worms up very quickly when you first swich it on, and after straigtening your hair...

I decided to by an epilater after a recommendation from a friend. i was told that epilation was alot better for your skin than shaving, that it was a quick process and would make the hair take longer to grow back.
I admit i chose this particually... more
Here I go again writing about straighteners, except this time I have lots of nice things to say about them because they are brilliant..! Okay so my last pair of straighteners were a little bit rubbish and burnt my hair into little pieces, but these ones... more
