Advantages: Really high temperatures
Disadvantages: Sometime I catch the temperature buttons

...After considering various different products even GHD's I decided that as these get extremely hot I would give them a go. I have very very thick hair and my old straighteners just weren't doing the job. I looked around at varying different models and weighed up the pro's and con's of each. These were very good value for money I got them on offer and paid £30 rather than £44.99 but to be honest I would have paid the £44.99 for them now. I love this product every time I straighten my hair it looks like I have come out of the hairdressers. An excellent product, that I can't fault. Would recommend to anyone especially if you have thick hair. The benefits of the Nano-Gold are that they have ceramic coated plates and Tourmaline ions which leave your hair very smooth and shiny. ...These are the first pair of Remington Straighteners I've ever owned and definately the best. My husband bought them for me for Christmas - he knew I was after a pair of GHD's but couldn't find them on the high street (us girls know they are only available through the web) so settled for these. He accidently bought me the wide plates - even though I have quite thick wavy and frizzy hair - I've always used the slim plates on previous straighteners. Why? i don't actually know. The wide plates on this particular pair just make straightening my hair so much easier than ever before. Anyway back to the straighteners themselves, they are teflon nano gold ceramic coated plates.
