I bought these straightners about six months ago for 14.99 off Ebay, they have not caused me any problems so far and have been working really well! I'm really pleased with them!
Heat: It has about eight different heat settings which is really good, the highest one is a bit too hot for my hair but for someone with thick unmanagable hair I can imagine it would be perfect. As soon as you plug it in it begins to heat up, I say it takes about 2-3 mins ... ...in the middle heat setting and it holds my hair all day long!
Attachments: The straighners come with a nifty little bag to store your straightners in and also the straightner has a comb attached to it which makes it a lot easier to straighten. I've never been any good at holding the straightner and a brush in the other hand! It also has a lock on it too which is really useful.
