What I was looking for -
In particular, I was looking for an easy to use, long lasting, waterproof shaver that I could use to control the hair around my bikini area, it also had to be very reasonably priced as I just wasn't in the position to go spending £40 on a lady shaver. The waterproof aspect of it was quite important to me as it meant I could easily incorporate it into my shower routine and it would be easy to clean as I could just rinse it out quite easily. I also wanted something from a well-known brand name as I've never bought anything like it before so I'd know its reasonable quality and won't break as soon as I use it (I understand even brand names could break easily, I just didn't want to risk it with an unknown brand name at the time).
The product -
This lady shaver is suitable for legs, underarms and the bikini area. It can be used dry or in the shower. Taming longer hair? The shaver has a flexible trimmer system which helps tidy longer hair. These are designed with comfort tips—rounded edges—to minimise skin irritation for an effortlessly easy and even cut.And for a smooth bikini line, simply click on the interchangeable bikini trimmer comb guard leaving your skin silky with less irritation for a smooth finish.
Discomfort is kept to a minimum thanks to the skin-stretching massage strip. This helps keep the skin taut during shaving for ease and comfort and enables the blades to hug your skin incredibly closely for the most efficient and effective shave.

My experience -
I bought this product from Argos, when I opened the packaging I was quite happy to see it came with its own specifically designed cleaning brush and bag to keep the shaver in. The design is quite sleek and I find its not too big or heavy at all so its very easy to hold and handle. I first tried it in the shower to shave my bikini area and to be honest it doesn't quite get it straight away, I found I had to keep going over the same area several times and try it at different angles to get every hair and it took me a while to get the technique. Once I worked out how to do it, it got easier however I do still have to go over the same area several times to really get it smooth. Once I do shave the area properly it does feel very smooth as if it has shaved it very close and it lasts for about a day or two and then once the stubble comes up I can very easily shave it down again so I don't have to wait for it to grow which is really great. Once downside is that the batteries don't last very long, it may just be down to the batteries, but I tend to have to change them once every 3 or 4 weeks but I'm not sure if that's normal or not. Cleaning the shaver is very easy to do as the protective shield clicks off very easily (just two buttons on the side and then once its cleaned you can just click it back on again). I also haven't had any problems with irritation from the shaver at all which I'm very happy with. Its a really great price and nice product once you really get how to use it.
