I don't yet own this straightener yet but I'm definitely getting one for myself this month. I love remington s2002. It works just as good as a ghd, but is very low priced. I tried it out at a friend's place for the first time and i was kind of surprised to see the results. I have a straightener which cost me a lot but did not straighten my hair at all. But after i tried out s2002 I'm bound to getting one. I live in asia, and have jet black thick hair. I really wanted a straightener which would give my hair a sleek and shiny look without causing a lot of damage. So, s2002 was it. It has temperature control for thick and fine hair. Ceramic plates glide smoothly over hair and with the very first swipe i noticed instant shine and smoothness. It's easy to get a grip of and the cords are long enough to let you move freely around, if the mirror is at a distance. Heats up within a minute. But be careful not to put it on for a long time otherwise the handles kind of heat up too. Turn if off while not using, as i said it takes just about a minute to heat up. Overall, i'm a fan of this product. and i would recommend it to all people out there who want straight shiny hair without having to pay a big price.
