It's only storage
Advantages: Cheap enough, Sony Brand Disadvantages: Unreliable on some writers
...a green colour, with the Sony logo, and CD-r in large letters, as well as siez 700Mb / 80Min. The reverse of this is a white are to write the title of the disk, date etc. The front also has a small circular cut-out which allows you to see if the disk is inside the case or not - meaning you don't even have to open it to find out!
The reverse of the packaging is in a black design, including the spine - this is annoying as you cannot write on the spine ... ...reliability of writing onto these Sony disks, both with my previous old slow Medion CD-Writer and my current Samsumg CD-Writer. I've got far too many coasters lying around for my liking. I am not expecting perfection, I expect 1% to fail, but anything more than this and I'll look elsewhere. I'm not suggesting for one moment that Sony disks are poor quality, because I'm sure they're not. They do however not like my CD-Writers, and I have more problem ...

Suitable for most.
Advantages: Enough for people who want to exchange small amounts of data. Disadvantages: If you want something to hold lot's of information...look elsewhere.
...Specifications:
Product Description - Memorex Professional CD-R x 10 - 700 MB - storage media.
Type - Storage media - CD-R
Recording Time - 80min
The product contains 10 CD-R's within a CD case, each having a suitable space, useful for writing specific information, easily identifying the individual CD-R's. Each one has 700MB of available space, each one waiting for you to use it cramming it full of your recent, favoruite music. The product is ... ...IT LIVE OR IS IT MEMOREX?", suggesting the company believes it is above the rest. And rightly so, because the 10 pack does provide you with satisfactory value. However, if you're looking for a product to hold huge amounts of data on 1 disc, then don't bother with this. I only recommened thsi product for small sized files and for someone who just wants to transfer small data between computers. If you're this person, this product is great for you! ...

The Need For Speed
Advantages: Cheap & Very Reliable, Fast Speed Disadvantages: None
...disc available.
The Company Memorex has been going for a number of years. I even remember them as a kid making good old fashioned tapes. They are a mid range buyer level more than anything else.
The Discs are suitable for anyone who wants a permanent media to store data on. -R means write once allowing you to only write the information to the disc once. Although some software programs support multi session allowing you to add data to the disc.
... ...have definitely found this with Memorex CD-R discs.
They are 700MB or 80 Mins standard single layer discs and are 52x in speed. One of the fastest speeds on the market. Most modern recorders support this speed however some are slower. The discs still work with a slower burner but are limited in write speed to the recorder being used. They come in packs of 25, 50 & 100 discs in a cake layer box. I personally pay £6 for a box of 100 and consider them ...

Word for word
Advantages: Reliable Disadvantages: slightly more expensive than other brands
...I chose the 10 pack Verbatim CD-R 700Mb, which came in at around £5 on Amazon, not bad that's only 50p a disc. I know you can get cheaper versions, but in the past I've ended up throwing more of those type away than I have actually been able to get anything onto.
As many of you will know the word Verbatim means word for word or exact, so the name itself exudes a certain amount of authority and confidence. The CD's come in clear cases which although ... ...the CD's. They are 52X so the writing to them is fast if your CD recorder is up to the task, obviously you are not going to get 52X if you recorder max's out at 24X. I have made the few CD's that I intended and had absolutely no problems at all in their creation or indeed in subsequent playing on any equipment, so the outlay of a little extra was well worth it. A good buy from a very respectable supplier. ...

Verbatim DVD+RW 4.7 GB 4x
Advantages: Enough space Disadvantages: Keep stopping
...to say about this pack. Verbatim always had good CDs and DVDs. But the last 3 dvds just didn't did their jobs... Maybe it's just my computer that burns really bad dvds or just my program for burning them.... It's also posible that I have DVD player that isn't so good. I really don't know but i know that my Verbatim DVDs keep stopping... I keep them in boxes, so they aren't damaged. I will decide if I will keep buying them or not. There are other ...
