...as any other disc would, RiDisc claim to be constantly improving the discs but in my opinion these must be extremely small improvements. At the end of the day it's your computer that does the hard part by burning the data. Value for money - All blank discs are relatively cheap (around 15P) or around 25P each for the more dearer ones. Disadvantages: they hardly work !

Dont waste your cash on these discs. They are called Tuffdisc, I think it is more like tough-titty when you waste them recording stuff onto them ! Let me explain. So far I have had little joy with these discs, using them on 3 dvd-burners, and the movies being played in 2 stand alone dvd players, also, they are pretty useless for holding operating systems that will boot PCs. Linux and BSD will install from them, slowly, but Windows, (XP and VIsta) ...
...when you are playing them in a stand alone player, I dont know if this has any bearing on anything though. The only thing I have used them successfully with, is archiving. Verbatim is possibly one of the top Recordable and Portable media suppliers that i've ever come accross. Although some products mas seem a little pricey I can pretty much tell you that it's probably worth it, of course that will depend on what you are using the dvd for. Verbatim disks are very high quality so i wouldnt suggest that you buy this simply for storing your extra files, music or videos. They are more expensive than the rest for a reason. ...
