I have owned a rx4 from new for the past year, it is an excellent car to drive, however I have had a few teething problems. After a few months I experienced a knocking noise when turning the wheel. The car was fitted with a new steering rack , but after a few weeks the same problem returned. I then had new mounts fitted and thankfully have had no further problems. The car is great to drive, and very spacious, great when travelling with the kids. Plently storage space. The only disadvantage os that the parcel shelf has to be held up when loading the boot. There is also an arm rest between the front 2 seats that I have not established the purpose of as any weight on this causes it to fold down.
