Advantages: Cheap, long lasting, transparent, IT WORKS! Disadvantages: Doesn't get to the root of the problem, dead ants on carpet
Although summer is over I have waited to post this opinion just to make sure that the product worked. To be honest there is nothing worse than reading an opinion about a product someone has bought that day and only gives insight into its uses rather than its reliability and other factors that can only be measured over a period of a few months. So note this one down and look out for it next year!
Most people love the summer and this year the record temperatures made it one of the most memorable of recent times, but with the sun and the heat also comes the usual wave of ants and other insects. It doesn?t matter how clean I keep my house they always seem to find a way in but this year I finally found an antkiller that worked.

When I moved into my ground floor flat I noticed straight away there was a problem with ants,
the patio was crawling with them and it was obvious there was a nest of them out there somewhere.
I had never really come across this problem before as this was the first ground floor property I've lived in, neeless to say I was panicking as some of them had got indoors and I could'nt get a proper nights sleep until they were gone!

Nippon has been the talk of the shop lately, as 'the' treatment to buy for wiping out ants! It's a good job the conversation came up really, because a week later I'm cleaning out the cupboard under the stairs and find ants have made it their home!
Nippon is relatively cheap, priced around £3.50 for a huge bottle which will last you goodness knows how long. It comes in various forms but I picked the powder as I thought it would be a bit easier to use indoors than the liquid! The powder says it's effective, yet it's still safe to use around pets and children - a bonus in my book as 2 dogs live with me. After applying the powder directly to the area affected, I wait 24 hours before checking for signs of ant life.
This stuff works. The ants have gone and the problem has been solved, all without breaking the bank! ...
