Advantages: catches unwanted flies Disadvantages: only drinks rain water
I have a baby venus flytrap at home and i didnt realise how difficult they are to look after.
Firstly the plant can only have rain water so outside my window i have a bottle and a bucket waiting to collect any rain. This time of year it is easy but if we have a dry summer it could be difficult. (although this is england so having a dry summer is doubtful)
Secondly it is very hard to find flies for them to eat. They obviously prefer live food but trying to catch a fly is difficult. As the majority of the time i have to kill them i have to use twisers to move the fly in the trap so it closes. Again this time of year getting alot of flies is also hard. They can eat things like crickets but i gave it a ladybird that was dead and i think it has killed the trap . You also only need to feed them about once a week in winter.

Advantages: Relatively humane way of killing mice, more palatable to deal with than traditional traps Disadvantages: Initial outlay is relatively high, needs batteries
- and a large battery compartment. This needs four AA batteries to power it and there is a warning light which flashes when the battery is low. Rentokil claim that you can get up to 50 kills with just the four batteries.
You need to place this on the floor with the entry point running beside the wall - mice have pretty poor eyesight and like to have a side surface close to them when running around - and wait for it do its job.
Once a mouse enters this, it will be electrocuted as soon as it hits the two wired plates in the part of it I call the execution chamber - and you will be met with a flashing light to inform you a mouse has been dispatched.
What I liked about this was the fact I didn't have to deal with traditional traps. I openly admit I am squeamish and an electrocuted dead mouse seemed marginally more pleasant to deal with than one which ...
Advantages: Easy to use, Aesthetically pleasing, User friendly Disadvantages: Not enough variation from vista, no desktop button
Windows 7 Review
With the recent release of the new Microsoft operating system windows 7 many people believe windows vista will be forgotten about with its constant security alerts and lack of user options. The new operating system has many new features which I will run through now.
Firstly the new taskbar down at the bottom is a lot easier on the eye as it no longer has any text whatsoever, instead Microsoft have opted to use just the logo of the software the user currently has running. Another improvement to the taskbar is the ability to lock items to the task bar which is a replacement of the quick launch system in Vista, this simply means that you right click click on the logo of the software you want to lock and click ?pin to taskbar? this means that when the program isn?t open it still has an icon on the taskbar and can be ...
