Every now and then a game comes around that help to define action and horror, many games have tried to merge these two, but they have unfortunately failed. Resident Evil 5 on the other hand as gone above and beyond all expectation that i had for it. It masterfully blends action and horror to the point of pure genius The movement is smooth and the game just looks beautiful. The games best feature is the co-op play, Capcom has tried this once before with the Resident Evil Outbreak series but they failed. I personally played and beat the entire game with a friend online the first night it was released and I have never had as much fun as i did then. The only real downside to Resident Evil 5 is the length of the game, we had it finished in about eight hours, the game was a blast to play but it felt as if Capcom rushed everything in it a bit to much. Over all Resident Evil 5 is a very good game and its worth the price, if you have not picked your copy up already you should.
