Resident evil umbrella chronicles is an arcade style fps shooter, your characters have a set path that you cannot break and you shoot anything that moves or looks dodgey.

You play through Resident evil 0, 1 and 3 they have the same storylines and characters as the original games. You get to play side missions as different characters such as albert wesker (im not all clued up on resident evil backstory but what i do know is this is a guy gone crazy for power)

The graphics in the game are pretty good by the wii's standards but in the world that is HD dont be expecting it to compete against xbox 360 graphics for ps3 graphics. Regardless of this the visual screen is still good enough by my standards, The levels are dark to provide that even more creepy somethings gonna come round the corner and eat your face off feeling.

The music and sounds in the game again give that added really creepy feeling with dark and ominous tones to build suspence.

The game has a vast array of weapons which you can upgrade to make stronger and take more ammo, which you get to choose from at the beggining of each level so choosing the right weapons might decide wether you live or not. After each level you get a rank, the higher the ranking of your score the more stars you get you can use these stars to upgrade your weapons, so playing a few levels more than once might be necessary to get the right amount of stars you need. Also remembering to conserve ammo makes the game a little harder because you dont want to be stuck on a boss with nothing but a pistol... Believe me!

The game has co-op mode meaning just like in the arcades where you pick up a gun each and throw your pound coin into the machine, you can play with a friend, the game is obviously harder on co-op mode otherwise you wouldnt be too fussed.

I think that this game is most definetly one of my favourite on the wii, as a yound child i really enjoyed playing such games as house of the dead in the arcades, so this appeals to those people like me that would spend time in the arcades playing such games.
Co-op mode i really liked because it was added fun to play through the game with a friend and see who would be getting the better score and fighting over who gets the ammo.
You can now purchase the wii zapper essentially just a piece of plastic which your wii remote slots into and the nunchuck goes on the back and you hold like a gun in the games in the arcades, This has its advantages that you get more of the arcadey feel which is why i bought this game but it also gives you more accuracy in the shooting.
